Work smarter, not harder!

You may use the Format Painter button to copy formats from cell to cell, but did you know this? Format Painter can also be used to quickly copy the width of a column in Excel to other columns.

To do this:

1.    Select the column heading letter (i.e. A, B, C) whose width you want to copy.

2.    Click the Format Painter button.

3.    Drag through the column headings to change.
