Add a Button to the Quick Access Toolbar

Work smarter, not harder!

Microsoft Office – Use this tip to add any Ribbon button, group, or dialog box launcher to the Quick Access toolbar. For example, adding the “Margins” button to the Quick Access toolbar makes the button always visible so you do not have to click the Ribbon tabs and spend time locating it.  For commands you use frequently or those you struggle to locate, this can be a real timesaver.

Add a Command Button to the Quick Access Toolbar

1.     From the Ribbon, right-click the desired command button and choose “Add to Quick Access Toolbar.”

          >      You can also add a group from a Ribbon tab or a dialog box launcher to the Quick Access Toolbar by right-clicking.
