Course Description
Participants will learn how to create and use PivotTables to quickly summarize and manipulate large amounts of data. After creating PivotTables, we will explore PivotCharts ‑ a flexible chart based on the data in a PivotTable.

- Create a blank PivotTable from an Excel list or table
- Work with the PivotTable Field List
- Change the view of the PivotTable Field List
- Add, remove, and rearrange fields in the PivotTable
- Create a PivotTable using recommended PivotTables
- Sort data
- Refresh a PivotTable and change the data source
- Move, clear, and delete a PivotTable
- Change the number format of a data field
- Change the calculation for a value field
- Insert, edit, and delete a calculated field and calculated item
- Display or hide subtotals and grand totals
- Change the PivotTable style and style options
- Show or hide the expand and collapse buttons
- Expand or collapse levels of detail
- Display details for a value field on a new worksheet

- Filter rows, columns, and by selection
